Information on Agency and Individual Resources for Education

The COMMUNITY MARC Information Database is an Information and Referral (I & R) service, provided to help educators and students in our region who are in need of speakers, mentors, volunteer opportunities, tutors or field trip information, etc., to link to a person or organization which meets those needs.

Approximately 500 government agencies, service clubs, community organizations, religious and political groups, and individuals are included. Commercial enterprises are only listed if they offer educational services that are unique.

For each agency, the following type of information is included (when applicable):

• Address
• Description of Services Offered
• Telephone Numbers and Web Address
• Hours
• Contact Person
• How to Obtain Service
• Fees
• Geographic Areas Served
